2010: My Top 12 Tv Shows From This Decade

Its now 2010 and with all the games and movies to see this year i hope its a good year. nothing big planned this year there are some things i want to do but i just hope everyone starts 2010 of great and this is my first blog in 2010 but i thought i would do my top 12 shows of this decade.


These are shows i discovered in 2000, these shows had to been started in the 2000's so here are my Top 12 tv shows from this Decade

12. Underbelly
- One Of The best Australian shows in this decade that could have been watched. just doen really great and written very well and lots of nudity just a great show that i really got into.

11. True Blood
- the best vampire show that is on tv, it has a really good story and really does some inetresting things and stay true to vampire law.

10. Summer heights high
- its the best Australian comedy show out there done like a documentary very funny with the 3 main characters out this school just a funny show.

9. Flight of the Conchords
- Just A Funny show with music its just a great fun and they do have some great music in the show and some great characters.

8. Metalocalypse
- the best show that is adult swim that is about a heavy metal band that rules the world while other people try to stop them. one of the best animated tv shows of the decade.

7. Californication
- This show is so funny and awesome just about a writer who hates hollywood and having a lot of sex and getting drunk Hank Moody rules.

6. Weeds
- A show about mother who has to see weed at first doesnt sound good but this show is funny and the main actress makes this show and why i love and the trouble she gets into has to be watched.

5. The Wire
- Just an awesome cop/gangster show one of the best that was on TV and just some creat acting and what some awesome character they created with this show.

4. Dexter
- Dexter is great show takes on the serial killer genre and twists it on its head just awesome acast and great writing i still need to watch season 4 but right now after season 3 i love this show.

3. The Shield
- the best cop drama that i have seen, with an awesome cast and with a different style to the show that made it gritty and dark which suited the show because of the stories on the show loved this show.

2. Rome
- I love movies/ other stuff about Anicent rome i love reading about ancient rome and this tv show which uses that history and does there own stuff is great and show which made me a fan out of Ray Stephens was just epic to watch to bad it got cancelled.

1. Deadwood
- A great western show that was awesome and shouldnt have been cancelled but the show is awesome full of swearing but with great stories and one bad ass sheriff.

That is my fav shows of this decade the ones i enjoyed the most and one i loved and own on dvd you can tell i really like a lot of HBO/Showtime programs they do make the best stuff.

thoughts On Modern Warfare 2 + 2010 predictions

Modern Warfare 2 came out this year and i got it For christmas and finally finished it today. Now i have finished and i liked but i really loved the story it is basically the start of WW3 and a cool twist a twist that has been done but done really good but there a lot of holes in the story but i really liked but only wished the game last longer because i am not really an online guy im more of the single player gamer. the story had WTF monements this had some great moments when you first see Price and rescue him. then there is seeing all the russian planes in the sky over america and fighting in a torn up america on street where bilding blown like WW3. now with game play i am not a big FPS fan but i do love killzone and i rathered KZ2 game i personally think MW2 gameplay isnt as good i dont really like it that much its alright but i play it for the story and shoot the bad people so an alright game.

2010 predictions (things in the video game prediction that i think that might happen but probally wont happen.)

1.God Of War 3 will be a big seller
2. EA will bought and im predicting disney to buy EA.
3. DC Univse will be the first MMO on consoles to do well.
4. Halo Reach will bomb, it will do good but not as good as the other halo games.
5. Alan Wake and Heavy Rain will suprise everyone and do really good and show people want more adventure games.
6. PS2 games will be introduced to the PSN and more collection on discs of ps2 games will come out to the PS3.
7. GTA DLC comes to PS3/PC and GTA 5 will be anounced for all consoles
8. Wii HD will finally be shown at this E3 with the new Zelda game and anounced they will both be coming together into a bundle.
9. mass effect gets announced for the PS3 in a double pack kind of thing but will probally come out at the end of 2010
10. in 2010 PS3 will get a rush of RPG'S
11. Rare gets shut down

South Park: world of warcraft

I love South Park and i got season 10 for christmas and south park is still a show i still can watch whenever and is the only show i watch regular on TV. This is show i find funny all the time and my idol is Eric Cartman. I have seen s10 when it first aired but watching it on dvd is awesome and with commentaries and all the behind the scene stories are good to listen. This season had some great stuff like World Of Warcraft and meanbarpig some just classic and the stanley cup ep is not that great but i still like it but overall its an epic season and i still love south park the one show i can still watch over and over and not get bored.

Standout from season 10 - Make Love, Not Warcraft

- this ep takes on the pc game MMO of world of warcraft where the 4 boys are playing the game and get together to kill a guy in the game who going around killing everyone in the world.... of warcraft. This ep is so funny seeing the boys doing nothing but playing this game getting fat and having no life its just funny and butters being the only boy who doesnt play it i just laughed a lot in this ep and the best one out of the season.

Post X-mas

I hope everyone had a great merry christmas because i sure id i have to say it was the best one in a couple of years. so here is what i got for christmas.


I got this before christmas but was a present to myself still need to watch it but i love studio Gibli.

I got some books for christmas.

the road - the movie is not out yet and i really wanna read the book so i hope i can read the book before i see the film.

Under The Dome - i love stephen kings work and this his newsest epic book.

dexter - has 3 deter books in one i like the show can't wait to read the books.

Death Head - sounds like a good read.

i got the dark knight calender, a new wallet, modern warfare 2 and china town wars.

i got south park season 10, pulp fiction briefaces edition on blu ray and 2 anime dvds GTO and Samurai Gun.


bought some stuff with money/ gift cards. i got dexter season 3, Drag Me To Hell and dirt 2.

there is still some more stuff i wanna get like district 9 on blu ray and south park s11/s12. also the dragon ball z collection. i really need to pick up clifornication season 2 and i really need to get Up once it comes out on blu ray over here.

Merry Christmas and What A 10 Years Of Films.

Well i was going to do both games and films but for now i have only decided to do just films. the top 20 films of the decade.

My top 20 films of the decade

20. Mongol (2008) - A Great movie about the rise of Genghis Khan and is directed so well and acted and its no hollywood or straight to dvd deal its amazing.

19. The Dark Knight (2008) - Why i love this film is because of Heath Ledgers Joker he makes this film and he prefomce is amazing.

18.Hellboy 2: The Golden Army (2008) - Hellboy 2 is just amazing by Del Toro who just did a terrific for the sequel and a great cast and we need a 3.

17. The Chaser (2009) - something new and great an some great acting and a story that i love and you have to watch till the end.

16. Kill Bill Vol 1 (2003) - A mOvie that showed Tarantino can direct Action and its some awesome action.

15. District 9 (2009) - one of the most original films in years and so amazing and made me like Science fiction movies again.

14. Doomsday (2008) - Doomsday is a fun movie and great movie that trows back to movies like mad max just awesome fun.

13. Team America: World Police (2004) - Coming off south park trey did an awesome job directing this film that is the funniest thing i have seen in years.

12. A Dirty Carnival (2007) - a good gangster film that i really loved by the ened, really thought it was a great film by the end.

11.Howl's Moving Castle (2005) - Just amazing film the animation is awesome and story and voice actors are so great, not a movie just for the children.

10. The Mist (2007) - Just an amazing film with a WTF ending and ending you have to watch a couple of times but the film is just amazing Stephen king and Darabont relation ship is amazing just love it.

9. A Bittersweet Life (2005) - one of the best gangster films made this decade with such a great story and what a great ending just loved it.

8. Sharkwater (2007) - Sharkwater changed my views on sharks and is really a hreatbreaking look at what is heppening to sharks in secret just amazing Doco.

7. Pan's Labyrinth (2006) - Just amazing what Del Toro done here and just the overall and the look of this film is amazzing and the story is just amazing.

6. Inglourious Basterds (2009) - Basterds is the best war film of the decade, Waltz is so amazing as the villian one of the best villians in this film, just amazing.

5. Let The Right One In (2008) - best vampire film of the decade something new and just so well done its fantastic.

4. Eastern Promises (2007) - A great story and Viggo is so amazing in this film sthe story is awesome and a awesome fight scene at the end.

3. The Proposition (2006) - best western and Aussie film of the decade it took me a couple views before i fell with this film but with a cast like this its just great.

2. Brick (2006) - Brick was a film i heard so much and had to see and when i did i just loved it, and when i first saw Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a serious actor.

1. Battle Royale (2000) - The Story is amazing and this movie is so well done i loved it. just the action and the conclusion is awesome my best movie of the decade.

Merry Christmas to everyone and i hope that everyone who reads this has a good christmas, im looking forward to christmas this years sitting around with the family and eating nice food plus playing some modern warfare 2. i will back after christmas with what i got for christmas see you then guys.

My Top 3 Games For 2010 + Akira + Update

I have a few games im excited about next year but here is my Top 4. i think we are going to start the year of 2010 with some really Great Games for all consoles really not sire about the wii and still dont know if i will buy one.

The Game i'm most excited about is Red Dead Redemption they released a gameplay video the other day and that game just looks awesome, the stuff you can do and its open world so much do it and it even looks better then GTA (I am one person who really Loves GTA). But there only might be one bad thing i just have this feeling the OFLC might want to censor some stuff in the game which they do with every games these days. but the story sounds like something i would see in a western and it will probally be the bet western game, the characters sounds great and every character has there own life in the game and you can go hunting and you can kill animals there is so much. I am going to have so much fun with this game that video showed off a lot of stuff and how open this world is really looking forward to this one.

Then there is Heavy Rain and i have been reading a lot of stuff on it this week bcause a lot of sits got a demo of it. The game just sounds awesome, with many stories and would be a action adventure but the graphics and story make this game standout and what you can do also you can't die (which is awesome) there are many stories and like fahrenheit which was awesome and had a lot of fun with it sounds like a better game and really looking forward and since seeing the special edition. i know people say they dont like the controls because of the kind of god of war controls but i don't mind just press buttons im all good with it and really can't wait for it.

God Of War 3 is the next one i am excited about, A game series i have loved, With this one coming out and us getting this special edition, but this is meant to end the trilogy and i can't wait to Kratos killing people cutting them up and breaking there heads. i always love the story from the god of war games so can't wait for this story.


I watched Akira on blu ray which is called one of the greatest Anime movies ever made. It is and i watched it on blu ray and it looks so good on HD. i only saw it once before on dvd and it was good but on blu ray it looks amazing. The film is great but as a film i love it, the story is awesome and the characters are awesome. just amazing film and what a ending just awesome loved it and the animation is so awesome love the film.

Also watched Feast 2: Sloppy Seconds expecting to hate it because thought the first one was alright. but this was a good fun movie i had a lot of fun watching, a good comedy.horror film that is sick sometimes but still funny but it has some great parts it has Naked bikie chicks, Lots of gore and some good comedy. didnt really need to see a monsters gential or screwing a cat i could have one with out them scenes but pretty cool. it has some cool ass little people and bunch of bikie chicks out for revenge such a fun film to watch.

other news

- I watched True Blood Season 2 and loved it really great, still really liked Eric he is awesome really do like this show.

- Iron Man 2 Trailer is awesome, Mickey rourke is so cool in that trailer can't wait for iron man 2.

- I have a new blog where i am watching 100 films.

- bought some DVDS/BLU RAYS this week. bought Inglorious basterds (blu ray), Akira (blu ray), Howls moving Castle (DVD), Spirited Away (dvd).

- we have only week left till christmas or something like that i am looking forward to christmas this year getting some good stuff cand i bought some good stuff for the family. working on a christmas blog but dont know if it will work hope to put it up a couple days before christmas.

- plus working on a top games/films from the last 10 years.

The Strain + 2 Documentaries: Tyson & The Cove + New Games

So i finally finished The Strain and got to say it was a great read. one of the best vampire books out there and better then a certain vampire series that is also a bunch of movies. this is more realstic and deals with what would happen if vampires have lived upon us for years.it written very good but also has a very slow start but was very intersting to read. i hope that they do turn this into a movie it feels like it could be plus written by a big movie director who did hellboy and hellboy 2 also Blade 2 which is a vampire movie.

TYSON: This is a movie i have been meaning to watch for while since being a fan of tyson in the ring. this Doco shows the life of his from him rising up talking about his chilhood and the death of his trainer which he gets choked up and it just very interesting to see him talk about everything and you just wonder he was the best when he was on top but when he lost focus and screwed up his life. just got to wonder if he was still on top he could have champion for longer and still fighting today. and really angry when he talks about Don King. just amazing film - 8.5/10

The Cove: The Cove is another Documentary is about dolphins getting killed in a cove. This is an amazing film its like shark water but dealing with dolphins and how there is his cover and these dolphins are being killed but also covered it up. this film is done great and has a great message and is just sad to see the dolphins be killed but not only that but when you see the water turn to red is just sick. the thing is the dolphins were here before us and watching these people kill doiphins make me sick. I really hate humans sometimes when they do these things. im totally against people doing these kind of things is just sick and it was cool just to see these people will do anything to get proof this happening they tried to go the right ways but couldn't so they had to do it Illegally. i just have to say everyone should see this movie, it was maazing and the only movie this year that made me have tears in my eyes. best documentary of the year. - 10/10

So a lot of New Trailers and Games got announced at the VGA'S which i didn't watch it just checked online of all the trailers that came online. the people that won were great uncharted 2 took a lot of awards which they deserved for a great game like that.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
The trailer didn't show any gameplay but just CGI and had the main character Dual Weilding and i hope they ad that to the game. also i love the intro to the trailer the voice of yoda talking about death and you being torn (i still have to finish the first one) really like, i will get it and still have to buy the first one.

Batman Arkham Asylum 2
New Trailer was shown and i can't belive they showed it off this early i thought it wouldnt be shown till next year but this early is awesome and seeing the joker again is cool but they need to add some big enemy like two face with the joker because i love the joker but they need to add a new enemy and looks like it will take place out in the streets ? im hyped just from the CGI trailer.
